CASE KNIVES BLACK CANVAS LAMINATE TRAPPER

The Case Trapper is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers. This specific version has two blades: a classic clippoint and a traditional speypoint. Both blades can be used to gut caught game. When opened they are kept in place by a slipjoint.

Technical Description

Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

• The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characteristic of this type of steel is that it can be sharpened super sharp very quickly.

Double Black Micarta

• The handle is made from Double Black micarta. Micarta is a composite material of linen and synthetic resin. Normally this is made from black linen and transparent resin. In this case the resin is enhanced with black pigment to make sure it looks darker.
