The GRUS bib shorts are specifically designed for mountainbike marathon and gravel riding. The uneven terrain increases the risk of chafing, and the more upright position (compared to road cycling) demands other qualities of the bibs. We covered all this in the GRUS bibs and made them perfect for ”grus", which means gravel in Swedish. The Grus Bib shorts can be combined with any jersey, but matches best with the Grus Jersey or the Skarp Jersey.

OUR CHOICE OF FABRICS

We tested a ton of different fabrics and finally found this high end Italian blend. The fabrics constists of more than 90% recycled fabrics of nylon, polyester and elastan. From our point of view, this is the best choice for the longest rides, when it comes to comfort as well as moisture wickening.

THE KEY FEATURES

We designed the GRUS Bib Shorts with regular leg lenght and an elastic hem band of 70 mm silicon gripper. We use mesh suspenders and a mesh back construction to create a breathable sensation of the GRUS Bib Shorts. The mesh rear pocket substitutes the use of a regular cycling jersey when riding causal t-shirt style. Perfect for an extra wind vest, jacket or a pair of gloves. Use the integrated right leg pocket when off bike for your phone or to stash that extra gel for the longest ride.

THE CHAMOIS AND THE CONSTRUCTION

We choose to equip all our bibs with premium chamois from Elastic Interface®, simply because we believe they are the best around. For the GRUS Bib Shorts we choose the off road 120 density padding. This men’s version is specifically designed for the male anatomy. Despite being highly protective the GRUS Bib Shorts are extremely lightweight beyond expectation. The concentration of extra paddings in the points of greatest pressure provides improved performance and maximum breathability. The minimalistic design allows freedom of movement on as well as off the bike. 

SUSTAINABILITY

The GRUS Bib Shorts are designed with sustainability in mind, using the highest quality Italian fabrics and manufactured in one of the leading European premium cycling apparel factories. The fabrics are all Bluesign® approved and are made of as much as 90% recycled fibers.
