First Superbike World Championship races for Davide Giugliano in Phillip Island, Australia.

A solid performance for the young Italian rider who earned his first championship points by closing the day's races in ninth and thirteenth position respectively.

"Race one I used to gain experience, not knowing exactly how it would go – Davide said- It went quite well and I was able to use what I learned in this race to go on the attack in the second. I started strong in the second race and was up with the front group. I planned to race behind Melandri and Haslam but unfortunately, five laps from the end, I started to suffer pain in my left arm and had to slow down in the final laps. It was a pity because if it hadn't been for that, I could have finished in the front group".

In Supersport World Championship Ondrej Jezek was in ninth position during Phillip island race but at only three laps to go, he crashed and was forced to stop his race on the gravel.

Excellent result for Alessandro Lupino and Ricci Racing team in the Italian Championship. Lupino reached the second position in the first two races of the national championship and is actually the leader of the championship standing.

First position for Lupino in MX2 Italian championship

Also Lupino teammate Nick Triest participated to the MX2 Italian championship reaching the ninth position. A good training for the MX2 world Championship that will start in Valkenswaard, Netherland on 9th April.
