GIVI 3D range with Easylock

The latest range from the Italian luggage specialist is 3D, which has both hard and soft options and an innovative patented locking system.

It currently consists of TPH01 side bags and the TPH02 saddle bag, but more products will be launched over the year.

3D TPH01 side bags are made of thermoplastic material covered with polyester (structure) and polyurethane (lid) and completed with reflective trim and a large zipper. The flexible frame combines the advantages of both hard and soft bags, the company says, and is completely waterproof as well as lightweight. They are designed for nakeds and sportsbikes where bulky luggage will affect looks and aerodynamics.

Another feature of the 3D TPH01 is the organisation of the inside compartments, with a meshed compartment on the lid and X-shaped elastic straps to firmly hold the luggage. Other standard fitments are: the bag/frame locking key, a rain cover, and a lock to close the two zips. Each bag has a 15-litre internal volume with dimensions of 450x220x290mm.

TPH01 is also the first bag to integrate the Easylock fitting system, which allows opening and closing in just a few seconds. The bags are key-locked to the dedicated metal frames, which have a TE frame made from 10 mm diameter tubular pipe.

3D TPH02 is a compact tank bag with a sports look aimed at urban riders and owners of nakeds and sports-bikes. Its lid has a compart-ment for a Smartphone with navigation unit and compartments for other items including coins and a glasses holder. The rain cover and the carrying strap are fitted as standard.

The Tanklock fitting system used on the TPH02 is a rapid fastening made of two elements: an adaptor at the bottom of the bag and a flange, to be fitted on the tank cap. It can be attached by pressing lightly until it clicks into place, and a red lever located in the flange base is pulled for release.
